What is Botox®?
Botox, a product developed by the pharmaceutical firm Allergan, contains a purified toxin that relaxes your facial muscles. This helps alleviate the wrinkles caused when you smile, frown, or look inquisitive. What are dermal fillers?

Do dermal fillers and Botox injections hurt?
Dr. Bansal uses a very fine needle for these aesthetic injections. You will feel a slight pinch during the treatment and will have multiple injection sites. However, the treatments are quick and most patients tolerate the sensations quite well.
If you are concerned about discomfort, talk to Dr. Bansal about using ice or a numbing cream prior to injections. Some dermal fillers contain the local anesthetic lidocaine to help reduce any pain.
How long do the effects of Botox and dermal fillers last?
The wrinkle-reducing effects of Botox and Dysport last three to four months. The effects of dermal fillers linger a bit longer, usually from six to 18 months, depending on the area treated and the way your body processes the hyaluronic acid.
