Cheryl Bansal, MD is a premiere dermatologist, surgeon, and founder of Medical & Aesthetic Dermatology. Before becoming the youngest board-certified dermatologist the year she graduated, Dr. Bansal began her education at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, from which she graduated with highest honors, in 3 years. She pursued her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, graduating at the top of her class with Alpha Omega Alpha honors in 2007. She went on to become a resident, then academic chief resident, at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, from 2007 to 2011.
Dr. Bansal is the consultant dermatologist at Howard County General Hospital as well as a diplomate of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Bansal’s comprehensive list of medical services includes annual full-body skin-cancer screenings, skin-cancer excisions, photodynamic therapy (PDT), narrowband ultraviolet B light therapy, and TheraClear® acne treatment. She also provides cosmetic procedures such as Botox® and Dysport®, dermal fillers, microdermabrasion, skin tightening, and cellulite reduction. Dr. Bansal dedicates her time to building her practice to best serve her patients and the Howard County community.
