Dathao Huynh, FNP-BC

Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner located in Columbia, MD

About Dathao Huynh, FNP-BC

Thao Huynh, graduated from Ohio University and received her Master of Nursing Degree from Columbus State University, specializing in Family Medicine. Thao Huynh is licensed by the State of Maryland and nationally certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She was trained and worked under two respected dermatologists in Maryland prior to joining our team. Thao Huynh treats a variety of dermatological conditions and performs multiple surgical as well as cosmetic procedures.

Being born and raised in Vietnam, her understanding of different cultures affords her the ability to see situations through the eyes of others. In caring for her patients, especially those from foreign lands, she often finds that she asks more questions about their perspective of their illness. In doing so, she has found that many people don’t understand what is wrong with their bodies and how to work towards better health. It has become a purpose in her healthcare career to fill in those gaps.

In her free time, Thao Huynh is very involved in the Buddhist community. She frequently helps with cooking and fund raising for local Vietnamese temples. She feels that it is a great way to recharge her soul and mind and get ready for her patients the next day.
